Mindy signed up for an ice-hockey tournament with her Moss Park team in Niagara Falls. Friday night they played their first game and won 4-1. Mindy got one of those goals.
Saturday, they played To Killa Rose and lost 4-0. The other team were overall better players and it was clear had been playing together for quite awhile.
Because they lost the first Saturday game, they had to play Saturday afternoon, which proved to be a very exciting game. It was 1-1 so they had to go into overtime. With 26 seconds left, Mindy scored the winning goal!!!!!!!

Before we get to the final game, let’s take a comic relief break. This picture was taken in our hotel room. Notice anything missing?
Yes, it would appear that whoever installed the bathtub, did it backward so the drain was on the other side. 🙂 Anyway, back to the action. So the final game for first place was held on Sunday at 11am and it was against To Killa Rose again. So this time, Mindy’s team got together and strategized…
…and played a terrific game! They made it VERY difficult for the other team to score and caused them some frustration. The other team didn’t score until the final few seconds of the second period and Mindy’s team was not able to score against them. The final score was 1-0. It was an incredible game to watch because Mindy’s team has never played better! They really came together as a team.

So now that hockey season is over, baseball starts up. 🙂
And Mindy’s already excited about next year’s hockey season.
