Hey Folks!
I’m sorry for not doing my part to keep this blog going! I guess I stalled a little bit. January 5th was my last post… hmmm what’s happened since then?
1) We celebrated Ligeia’s birthday on the 8th by swimming with the manatees. It was the most amazing thing ever! There were over a hundred manatees in the water and most of them wanted to play and have their belly rubbed! When we get our act together and have the pictures developed, I’ll try and get them online!
2) We’ve built a cage for Tank, because the doctor told us that her living quarters on top of the dolby speakers and television isn’t healthy for her. We still have a few finishing touches to do, but that will hopefully be done this weekend.
3) Last weekend, Ligeia and I drove south to Lake Worth, my mom flew in from Toronto, and we all visited my Uncle Jack and his wife, Amy. That was a nice weekend.
4) This past week, we’ve been stressed out about the upcoming Canadian election. We find it extremely hard to believe that so many Canadians see Harper as an option. Can someone please tell me what makes him so appealing to 37% of the people polled???
Anyway, that’s what’s new with us. I’ll try and be better and post more often!

Sounds like you’ve been busy over the last little while. I just looked up a picture of a manatee (cuz I didn’t really know what they were) and they’re huge!! Was it scary being with such big guys in the water?? It sounds like they’re pretty gentle though. 🙂
Not too much is new here in Kingston, except that it’s unusually warm and we’ve had tons of rain. Sean’s defense is on Tuesday, so keep your fingers crossed. 🙂 We’re definately voting on Monday, and don’t worry – Harper is a scary, scary man in my opinion!!!!
