Our Trip to Ottawa, Canada

Hey Everyone!

First of all, let me apologize for taking over a week to get this post up on our blog. Work has been quite busy, and our internet connection at home has been less than satisfactory, so to find the time to create this has been difficult to say the least!

But, I vowed to myself and Ligeia this morning that today would be the day that I take time away from work and post these pictures!

To see them all, follow the link below… But, if you’re interested in only seeing the select few that I deem worthy for blogspot, scroll down 🙂

Oh Canada… What lovely parliament buildings you have!

Skating on the Rideau. We managed to skate the
entire length of the Canal! All 7kms of it!
We were finally able to see how 92% of Canadians
really live. The market value of igloos is quite high
this time of year!
The beautiful view from the Peace Tower, overlooking
Hull, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario.
I wonder if Canadian Tire still sells these?
We loved our trip to the Canadian capital, and sadly, it was over too quickly! The sore muscles and bruises from the skate lasted for a few days at least!
Unfortunately, I need to be getting back to work. We’ll try to be more diligent in posting pics and stories of our future adventures!
Lots of love,
Mindy and Ligeia 🙂

It’s amazing the great places you can see without going very far… We’re both homesick and a little jealous.

Hope the winter is easing up!

    Love

    Hey ladies!

It looks like you’ve been having a great time. I’m in MT now, so we’re a little closer!

Hey there, great pics…I haven’t been to Ottawa in years. Next time you guys are around Barrie drop in and say hey. Although the snow is so deep we can’t open our sliding doors to the backyard, so you may want to hold off on any visits to Barrie until the snow melts 🙂 Hope everything is going well and we will chat again soon 🙂 Take Care!
