Happy Mother’s Day at Doi Suthep

Dragon Statue at Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Dear Moms, we couldn’t help but think of you when we passed by these two dragon statues outside the Doi Suthep temple. We haven’t yet figured out why they are labeled “MOM” but who are we to question anything that brings us thoughts of you. 🙂

Below is a digital bouquet, and we hope you enjoy the pictures for Mother’s Day. All of the flowers come from the Phu Phing Palace gardens on the mountain we can see from our balcony.
We hope you enjoy all of life’s simple pleasures, like perhaps appreciating the flowers around you, and have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Lots of love,
Ligeia and Mindy  🙂 🙂

    Hi Ligeia and Mindy,
your mother's day is already over and mine has barely started. Love the flowers you sent in your blog and also the sweet looking dragons. I have a weak spot for dragons and it is the Year of the Dragon! The sun is shining and the apple blossoms are attracting bees and butterflies – a good start into a glorious day.
    Have a good week!
    Love from Oma:-) and Opa:-(
