This evening we tried a restaurant that was new for us. It’s called Cafe 668 and it features vegetarian Chinese food.
As vegetarians, we weren’t used to having so many choices. Here’s Lauren and Mindy figuring out what to order:
The prices were reasonable and the portions were large. We brought home leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.
We all tried a dessert that was new for us, sweet coconut cream corn. Here is a picture of all three of us just before trying it:
It turned out to be really delicious!
Afterward we decided to check out the Christmas Market in the Distillery District. We were hoping to reminisce of our time in Germany, but it was like a ghost town. None of the things on this sign were actually there save the “washrooms”.
But the lights were beautiful so we took a few shots, including this nicely decorated Christmas tree:
We hope everyone is enjoying the December season. Mindy and I are off to Guatemala on Monday morning. Stay tuned for pictures.
