Well, it only took us 6 months and two weeks, but we finally got our marriage certificate framed and put up on our wall for us to admire. We spent quite a bit of time looking over everyone’s signature – trying really hard to read some of them! – and we’re very happy to have it. It’s hard to get a good picture of it (we tried our best!), but if this shot isn’t good enough for you, you’ll just have to come and visit us!
We are also celebrating another certificate in our household… As many of you are already aware, Ligeia recently finished her TESL course, and as long as she passed with more than 60%, she would get a certificate to prove that she’s worthy of TESL work (even though all of her students know that she’s well beyond that!) Not only did she pass the course, but she graduated with HIGH DISTINCTION! You may ask, what does that mean? Well, it means Ligeia graduated with a 92% average on all her work! Yay Ligeia! Great work!
In other news, our seeds that we planted a couple weeks ago are thriving! The beans and snow peas sprouted up within a couple of days and are now at least a foot long! Our cucumbers are doing well, the tomatoes look strong, and just this past weekend, the bell peppers joined their hot pepper cousins in showing a little bit of green! Shouldn’t be too long now before we’re reaping the benefits in a plentiful salad! 🙂
Anyhoo, work beckons… We hope all is well with everyone. Maybe where you are, the springtime weather is a bit nicer… we’ll be dropping below freezing again this week with the chance of flurries… oy!
Mindy and Ligeia 🙂
