Last night, in honor of Father’s Day, we took Dad to watch the Blue Jays vs the Orioles. Enjoyably, the Blue Jays also took the game to honor their team from 1992 and 1993 when they won back-to-back World Series Championships! Many former players were in attendance and it was so nice to relive the days when the Blue Jays didn’t sweep the basement of their division! Hopefully, one day soon, they’ll get back to their winning ways!!!
A pre-game huddle, with their coach Cito Gaston in the middle.
Before the game, an attempt to get Joe Carter’s signature failed due to the fact that there were too many people trying for the same thing. I figured a picture of him is better than waiting in line and NOT getting his autograph!
During the game, this was amusing. Of course, my toilet humor makes me think back to elementary school when all the kids had to sit together, and one poor student would pass gas and all his peers would scatter away, like the way grease does on water when one drop of dish soap hits a frying pan! It makes me giggle…
For any sports fans that are interested in the result of the game, Orioles came back to win it 7-5 after being down 3-0 for most of the game.
Enjoy yourselves and we’ll post again soon!
