Mindy and Ligeia went to visit Erick in Clearwater, FL for a week.
The first evening we were there we saw Cheech and Chong live. We laughed a lot and our favorite song they sang was “Mexican American”. Viva Mexico!
We went to visit some of Erick’s friends at the flea market:
Then we went to the Strawberry Festival in Plant City. Despite all the traffic, we had a good time and we came home with lots of strawberries.
We went to a Tampa/Phoenix ice hockey game. Phoenix won; they had an impressive defense. We noticed the number of Torontonians there when the update to the Leafs/Senators game was posted and we could hear the number of cheers in the stadium.

Mindy surprised Ligeia by driving an hour south to Sarasota to the Orioles spring training baseball diamond. They were played the Blue Jays that day. The Blue Jays won 4-1. There are lots of new players on both teams, but the O’s still have Tejada.
This is a new Orioles player named Angle. I’m sure we’ll see more of him this season.
Despite the emotionally difficulty of losing Vivace over the weekend, Mindy and Ligeia had a nice visit with Erick.
