Today there was a ceremony at Toronto’s City Hall to raise the Pride flag, where it will stay all week during the Pride celebrations. Usually Ligeia and Mindy could not attend this celebration due to it being during the work day, but this year we were lucky enough to go. Below is Councilor Kyle Rae speaking about the history of struggle and triumph of Gay rights in Toronto:
