We made use of our first evening by walking around the downtown core.
We walked to the very chilly waterfront on Lake Michigan.
We enjoyed taking pictures of “The Bean”.
The next day we walked around some more. Mindy really liked the elevated trains they have there.
We visited the Chicago Institute of Art.
We ended the evening by going to a vegetarian restaurant in Northalsted, which is claimed to be the first recognized gay neighborhood in the country.
We ran into some Canadians while we were there.
They kept close guard of the lake.
While coming home we got some nice shots of Toronto’s skyline.
We are already looking forward to our next trip and we hope everyone is doing well.
