The first weekend in October was definitely a chilly one for us to go up to the cottage, but it was well worth it! The fall colors were breathtaking!
We went up to Algonquin Kingscote for a short trip (amazingly, it was only a 30 minute drive from the cottage!) to see the fall leaves in their peak colors.
Back at the cottage, Jenny and Dawson came up for a visit. Here’s Dawson using her chainsaw to cut down a tree (it was dead, so don’t worry all you conservationists out there!)
And here’s Jenny showing off her prize for being an exemplary Canadian citizen. Well done, Jenny!
And here’s Ligeia, doing her best to stay warm. It was certainly a difficult task all weekend!
We closed up the cottage for the season, but Ligeia and Mindy have plans to return sometime in the winter to see what it’s like. Of course, we’ll keep you posted on when that happens!
Lots of love,
Mindy & Ligeia 🙂
